GARR CONFERENCE 2018 “DATA (R)EVOLUTION”

Call for papers
Every year, the GARR conference brings together the Italian Research and Education Network users, operators and managers, to share experiences and thoughts on the use of the network as a tool for research, education and culture, throughout diverse disciplines and contexts.
The core themes of this editions are data, artificial intelligence and technology transfer both towards the enterprises and single persons. We will talk about open data and services, cybersecurity, industry 4.0 and its relations with research and innovation. We will discuss how education should be rethought in order to keep the pace with the continuous evolution of ICTs, also with the help of these very same technologies.

Rules
The papers must be written in Italian or English and have a length between 1 and 3 pages (2.500-9.000 characters, spaces included). A single PDF file shall be uploaded, however you can include in it pictures or links to multimedia materials, such as videos or high-resolution images that may be relevant for the evaluation.
Papers shall be sent solely in digital format. To submit a paper you need to register and fill the online submission form: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=garr-conf2018
The proposed works will undergo an evaluation by the Programme Committee, and authors will receive its outcome. Selected authors shall send their final presentation following the timing and instructions received in the acceptance notification and published on the conference website.
Important! Submitted papers must refer to one or more of the themes listed in the call:

- Training and technology transfer
Together with quality, innovation, and interest for the research and education community, the relevance to at least one of these themes will be part of the papers evaluation criteria.
