Evangelista del Free Open Source Software, con una grande passione della condivisione della conoscenza, Uygur si batte da sempre per eliminare le false e negative percezioni sul mondo hacker, promuovendone al contrario l’etica e la filosofia di libertà che lo caratterizzano.
Nel 2017 fonda a Dublino 4Securitas, società di sicurezza informatica che ha sviluppato una rivoluzionaria soluzione di cybersecurity ACSIA XDR Plus (Automated Cybersecurity Intelligence Application).
Nel 2022 fonda a Milano Muscope Cybersecurity Srl, società di sicurezza informatica che ha sviluppato CYSR (Cyber Security Rating), una piattaforma di risk assesment e rating per le imprese.
Oltre essere il alla guida di 4Securitas e Muscope, Uygur si occupa per conto del governo Irlandese della National Advisory Board per la Cybersecurity e collabora da anni come consulente con le Agenzie Nazionali di Cybersecurity di diversi paesi, tra cui Israele, Stati Uniti e Regno Unito.

Stefan has been collaborating for years as a consultant with the National Cybersecurity Agencies of several countries, including Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom and he is involved in the foundation of the National Cyber Organisation in the Republic of Ireland.

Where is the global cybersecurity industry going and why is it failing to protect against cyberattacks?

Gli attacchi cyber sono in continua crescita e le soluzioni offerte dall'industria della sicurezza informatica aumentano ogni giorno per quantità e tipologia. Nonostante ciò, aziende e governi non riescono a trovare delle strategie adeguate per proteggere dati e risorse, basando i loro piani di difesa principalmente su un modello di tipo reattivo. Durante questo keynote speech, tenuto da Stefan Umit Uygur, CEO e Co-Founder di 4Securitas, si analizzeranno i motivi del fallimento di questo paradigma e le strategie che l'industria della sicurezza informatica dovrebbe seguire per proteggersi dai cyberattack: l'adozione di un modello di difesa predittivo e proattivo.
Cyberattacks are constantly growing, and the solutions offered by the cybersecurity industry are increasing in quantity and variety every single day. Despite this, companies and governments fail to find adequate strategies to protect data and assets, basing their defense plans solely on a reactive model.
During this keynote speech, delivered by Stefan Umit Uygur, 4Securitas’ CEO, and Co-Founder, we shall investigate the reasons for the failure of this paradigm and the strategies that the industry should adopt to protect itself from cyberattacks: a truly predictive and proactive defense model.
